What If? ...

As I began my walk through the woods, my soul took a deep inhale and my body softened into a state of calm. Whenever I arrive on these walks, something shifts. My perspective widens and the edges of limited thinking soften.
The last few days have felt heavy and hard. Waves of sadness and even irritation rising up but from where, I am not entirely sure, and maybe that’s the point. Sometimes the weight doesn’t need a clear origin to be real.
As I walked, I began to realize that we all carry burdens. Some from our present lives. Some perhaps from long before. They are not worse or better, just different, and that feels important to remember.
Our burdens, our challenges, our darkness arrive in relation to the journey we are on, to the lessons our souls are here to learn, to the ways we are here to grow and evolve. Comparison, the “it’s not fair” mentality only deepens our suffering. It tightens the grip of what already feels heavy.
And yet, when you are in the midst of chaos, pain, sadness, or circumstances that feel unjust, it is incredibly difficult to turn inward. To ground into the love that you are and to allow yourself space to settle. and to be quite honest, some burdens are easier to move through than others.
So how do we process our pain, our sadness, our confusion in a way that allows breathing to become a little easier and life a little lighter?
Truthfully, it will look different for each of us. But I do believe that finding even five minutes each day to be quiet, to listen, to breathe could change more than we realize. In a world that is constantly racing, grounding yourself in something that lights you up is immeasurable.
For me, it’s walking in nature.
It was on this walk that I noticed the trees. Each one holding the weight of snow and ice differently. Some branches bowed deeply. Others carried only a dusting of snow. The weight was distributed in unique ways across every trunk and limb.
We, too, carry our burdens differently. The weight falls in different places. Some visible, some hidden and some heavier than others. And yet we are all still beautiful. Still standing. Still navigating life in our own way.
And beneath it all, we are bonded by something deeper. A thread of love woven through every living thing.
We are not alone. Even when it feels like we are, it often takes something so small to shift us back toward balance. A smile from a stranger. Sunlight glimmering on fresh snow. A text from a friend. A ridiculous Instagram reel that makes you laugh out loud. Tiny openings and reminders.
There are endless ways to shift, even if only slightly, but it requires openness, and a willingness to see, to feel, to hear, to experience the quiet magic that is always around us.
Coming back to your heart, your soul, and your essence every single day will guide you when the burdens feel too heavy to lift.
Remember You are amazing! You are doing what you can with what you have.
And never, ever underestimate the power that resides within you.
Much love to all of you
